Who are Daughters of the King?
Membership in The Order is open to women at every stage of life. The diversity of different ages strengthens and enriches our chapters. Women benefit from the discipleship of experienced spiritual mentors, and are invigorated by the fresh faith and energy of each other.
Do you feel called to a life of prayer?
In our Rule of Life, Prayer always comes first. It is the first priority for Daughters, and our Service and Evangelism depend upon it. Each Daughter’s Rule of Prayer should be carefully considered and guarded. It should be prayerfully chosen, reviewed regularly and revised periodically. Our vows do not specify particular prayers, length of prayers, or times of prayer, just that we pray daily for our sisters, our church, and our clergy.
Pat Webber
President of the
Therèsé of Lisieux Chapter serving Trinity Episcopal Church in Arkansas City, KS and Grace Episcopal Church, Winfield, KS
While the primary purpose of a Daughter of a King is to pray for the needs of others, we help to serve the missions of the church.
